U.S. Lawns Hall of Fame Inductees for 2010
Orlando, FL - The 2010 U.S. Lawns Annual Conference was hosted at the Hilton Orlando November 11- 13, 2010 and was driven by the theme “GAME ON!” The Saturday night Awards Banquet was filled with those franchisees honored for their dedication to the success of U.S. Lawns and for support of their communities.
The highlight of the awards night is announcing the inductee into the U.S. Lawns Hall Of Fame, which recognizes a franchise owner who exemplifies the mission and vision of U.S. Lawns. The inductees have met Gold Star standards and consequently have had good growth, excellent financial performance, implemented the U.S. Lawns systems, maintained first-rate facilities, consistently exhibited a professional image, built a bench of well-trained and educated employees, and commonly participated in U.S. Lawns programs. They are known among their peers to uphold the highest ethical and business standards and have contributed to the advancement of the U.S. Lawns franchise system.
This year there were two inductees – Shawn Bone of Dayton, Ohio and Alan Swinburne of Haines City, Florida.
Alan lost his battle with cancer earlier in the year. In addition to his entrance into the Hall Of Fame, U.S. Lawns renamed the “Rising Star” award to the “Alan Swinburne Rising Star Award” in his honor.
U.S. Lawns is ranked #9 in the “Top 150 Companies in the Market” by Lawn & Landscape Magazine.
