Our Concept & Your OpportunityStarting Lawn Business

Over 20 years ago, the founders of U.S. Lawns recognized a distinct opportunity in the commercial landscape management industry – offer the customer a company that provides them with national strength and local commitment. The original group of U.S. Lawns founders, who referred to themselves as “cowboys” and pioneers in their industry, created a system that provides local service to our customers by ensuring that each customer is a short drive from the U.S. Lawns office that services them, which allows U.S. Lawns to more easily forge and maintain great relationships with our customers. U.S. Lawns also provides our local owners with a national team of business and green industry experts to support them with both landscape management information and skills and business guidance. That is the basis for our slogan NATIONAL STRENGTH, LOCAL COMMITMENT.

From day one to today, we provide our U.S. Lawns franchise owners with systems and procedures that ensure consistent quality for all of our customers, along with the ability to customize service to their particular needs.

Here are a few things that set us, and you as a potential franchisee, apart from the rest.

We approach business on a large scale, pursuing the following: retail centers, apartment complexes, banks, storage facilities, malls, restaurants, hospitals, hotels and resorts, municipalities, commercial office complexes and home owners associations.

Customers of this scale not only provide substantial revenue, more importantly, they provide recurring revenue. These properties need to be maintained week after week and month after month. Excelling in these areas can create jobs and revenue for years to come. And YOU will be the one who creates these relationships. You will be out in your community meeting the decision-makers, dealing directly with property managers, heads of homeowners associations, and a variety of professionals in your community. These people are usually held directly responsible for the appearance and upkeep of these properties, making your relationship and responsibilities to them that much more important. The very last thing you'll be doing is riding a lawnmower.

Consider this: while you're out and about meeting people, creating relationships, making deals, preparing bids and leading and managing a team…that is time when you are not cooped up in an office stuck behind a desk. So, ditch the shirt and tie, get out there and start making a fulfilling difference in your community.
